Our mission is to form alliances and partner with existing organizations to provide relevant information and services that will allow access to the needed resources that are availalble to assist in building people and creating a self-reliant community.
We are LAMP Life Centered Ministries Inc, A Non-Profit organization origanally incorporated in December of 1987 under The Louisville Association for Musical Performers. Founder and Pastor of LAMP Life Centered Ministries is Pastor Jimmy Williamson. He was worked very closely with the youth as well as adults in our community and has first hand knowledge of the needs, barries and inequities that exist within our communities. Having a love and a passion for preserving life has led to the development of LAMP Life Centered Ministries, Inc.
Our focus is Life-Centered
The goal of our organization is to reach out to our youth, adults, senior citizens, unwed mothers, single parents homes, and the underserved within Louisville Metropolitan Area and assist them in reaching their full potential.
- Enhancing the lives of senior citizens through companionship, encouragement, and involvement
- Mentoring young women from the ages 18 - 35
- Encouraging education entrepreneurships, homeownership and investing
- After school literacy program
